Horkey/Dead Arts Rumors and News
No. He has a ton of content to go through. He may have one tomorrow, but he said he'd be spreading them out. I mean, he kinda has to, in order to edit everything. And Aaron and Mitch's was the last one.snowrs wrote:Hopefully on line tomorrow?

Yeah I think mark has said a normal show takes about 6 hours to edit up. So he did 8 shows,+landland and drapplin + what ever else he recorded
He's also currently printing up a new print for Disney land that needs to be done for mid-october, so he's pretty booked in for time over the next couple of months

some other people sitting in AID might want to chime in to verify because my memory is kind of jumbled. Through the interview, Mark asked Aaron about this "world" that is seen through his art and eluded to whether or not Aaron ever thought about having a story/movie with the art. Aaron said that he has already gotten it all laid out in his mind and that the recent paintings and art prints for shows are part of the story, but not in chronological ordergreenhorn1 wrote:Huh?aznpunkyu wrote:

Wait... do what?! Okay, let me cool my jets. No more speculation until I actually hear the interview.

Ah that makes sense (although I doubt it will ever happen). At first I thought you meant a documentary about Aaron like the recent one on Chris berens. That would have been even more surprising.
ISO Horkey Stacy Lowery Paleo Deck. $$$$$$$ (or trade)
One of my favorite pick ups from mondocon. Been putting off buying this for a long time. Burlesque happened to have a PP copy available so I snagged it

Love that Flight/Conchords. We saw it at the BONA booth but we were already friggin broke lol. Nice score!
Also, cross posting for an answer: anyone else have a ghosting effect on Horkey's fat bird signature? Mine looks like he signed it very very lightly, then signed it again, slightly off center. I'm not sure what to make of it...

Jeez loueeeeez. Horkey's ghost sig is a non issue. I took it out of the plastic sleeve to take a pic. The "ghost" was where the pencil lead had adhered to the sleeve. His sig is perfect. I am not.
My journey for this beautiful bird has finally come to an end. It's easily my favorite of Aaron's gig prints, and the only reason it took as long as it did was because i was determined to find one without a stamp on the back. I'm beyond grateful to have had the opportunity to pick this up and give it a good home. Right to the top of the framing queue.
