Even though it has been covered before would love to see him do Hannibalmfaith wrote:I know we still have Gilded Age to get through, but with Mondo-Con right on the heels of it, anybody have a guess at what Aaron's new Mondo print is going to be for? Or at least what you hope it is...
Magnolia
or
Shawshank Redemption
or
Silence of the Lambs
or
Shining
or
Inglorious Basterds
or

I was reading through old threads and someone asked him at Mondo-Con what the film he would most like to do next was and he had said Seven. He said he even had an idea for it. I really hope it makes it to print, that would be an instant Holy Grail for me.
Really quite beautiful. Nice colors.

I know I'll be going against the grain, but I don't like it at all.egrimens wrote:

Aaron's paintings seem to be less liked than his screenprints, actually. So I'm sure you won't be alone.punch wrote:

It's certainly not within punching distance of any of my favorite Horkey pieces, but I do find it quite unique looking and it's full of Aaron's typical symbolism (string, thread, needle, etc.) As a painting that fits within his larger body of work, I really like it.

I'm not big on it either. No doubt the detail is phenominal though.punch wrote:I know I'll be going against the grain, but I don't like it at all.

Holy drymount this is incredible! So much detail, movement and contrast. Almost thought Sunsetter was going to be the giclée, but this will do just fine. Can't wait to stare at this piece during the show next weekend!egrimens wrote:
