I won't comment on the price but there are certain prints that Aaron and Ben have done together that are particularly amazing and this is one of them. The metallic ink has mystical properties.

The Horkey Club for Men and Women:

It all started here (I think):

http://forum.expressobeans.com/viewtopi ... 9&p=962983

Round 2:

http://forum.expressobeans.com/viewtopi ... &p=1039517

Round 2.5:

I can't find the 2.5 thread. Anyone?

Round 3 primer:

http://forum.expressobeans.com/viewtopi ... &p=1562363

Round 3 (2 threads worth reading):

http://forum.expressobeans.com/viewtopi ... &p=1658911

http://forum.expressobeans.com/viewtopi ... &p=1684451
Are these threads lost forever?

Well, if you're talking about the one that's framed by Furthur Frames, I don't think that the price is unreasonable.

Unfortunately I believe that is the case. Since the threads were locked and there were no posts in them, after something like a year they go off into the ether.

And this is why prices are so bloody high. Everyone trying to set a new record. Sucks for the newer folks trying to build their collection from scratch. :?
(I was fortunate early on to get some fair deals from some wonderful community members, but that doesn't seem to be the majority case these days)
So it goes...

Prices are high because there's a limited supply and increasing demand due to his rising profile. Nothing nefarious going on.

Also, when you arrive days late to a party, you shouldn't assume there is going to be any punch left.

Not assuming anything. Just making an observation. :pint: (I'm obviously willing to shell out the cash)
So it goes...
