Is just me that thinks it would look better without the hobbits in it?

Not weird at all. But if this is anything like ROTK, I'm going to reserve judgment until I see them in person. Thought I could live with just the regular ROTK, but then I got the variant.

Imagine if the gold metallics on the variant are like the gold on Detritus. I really wish we had actual photos of the finalized prints.

Not a huge fan of the films - but the quality of the art and the workmanship on these speaks for itself. Good luck to those of you who are hunting for them

Agreed! I have a PB trying for me, if I get lucky, I get lucky, if not, oh well.

Nope, and ummm, ummm, now's where I say that I've still never seen any of the films. But I agree, Aaron killed it on the hobbits but I would much rather look at everything else.

Agreed. The ROTK variant is absolutely stunning. Much more appropriate for the image in my opinion.

I'm sure it's entirely different in person, but the color choices on the TT variant seem to make the image much harder to discern. I'm happy for the price/run size/color difference on the TT reg as that's what I'll be trying for tomorrow.

This sucks, I have both versions of RotK, but the variant is framed and I like the reg of TT more.

That's exactly what my concern was, though I do agree it will be different in person and shouldn't be an issue. The interesting thing about feeling this way though is that you could somewhat pair both the TT reg and ROTK variant considering both have silver borders/lettering.
