Do those fugly ones go for much as well? I do not really follow the "trends" for the past couple of weeks or so.
Na, most are trash and don't sell for much. But this Slater and the EMEK are nicey... so typical huge sells at first followed by coming down to earth a bit later this year.
I'm just hoping for some nice ones when I hit Fenway.

Really only this and the Emek are going for tardy prices. The Tsang settled below 200. Probably has to do with it being a European tour so US fans have a harder time getting them.

200 is still a lot for a recent PJ poster. Not too long ago almost every one was about a hunge or less.

Meh, I can't remember too many good ones from the last tour. I am probably forgetting a few, but yeah.... there's real no rhyme or reason to some of the older PJ prints. Some just skyrocket after like five or six years for no reason.

I still don't get buying concert posters for shows your not at. Sure, the art of this is amazing. But would you hang it. Here's how I imagine this goes down:
Visitor: Hey man, really awesome print. What were you doing in Italy?
Owner: Oh...no. I wasn't actually at that show.
Visitor: Oh. Um. Weird.

I'm in the same boat. I wish more artists would release art prints and variants of their gig prints like Sperry.

Visitor: Not really.
Owner: Oh.

I personally do not care whether I have been to the event or not. And I do prefer the actual gig poster, rather than just an art version of it. Most of the time, anyway.

Yeah, whatever floats people's boat is cool with me. I enjoy seeing all of it in person, I just can't go down the road of buying moar of shows I haven't been to. My walls are already filled with shows I have been to, lol.

I absolutely see the appeal in collecting gig prints. Some folks like the rock art aspect regardless and I get it. I haven't framed any gig posters for concerts I didn't attend, but I wouldn't rule it out on principle. I would def frame a couple of Emek Tool prints, just don't have them.

If it's for a band I'm into, done by an artist I like, I couldn't care less if it was a show I attended or not. I just want nice art created for bands I love.
So it goes...

On the other hand, I could never hang a print for a band I can't stand.
