I agree. it's a very strong contender.
don't forget to nominate it for art of the week --> LINK

I'm curious if Todd is using something like KPT Bryce for these renders.

+1 on both. Quite likely Todd's best among so many great ones this summer. This - along with the recent WSP Whale and Avett Bros - are just incredible.

And the foils just leave me speechless.

He has to be in real contention for artist of the year. He has had an amazing summer.

Bollocks, too late. Really wanted this one. Congrats to those who got one, it's a real beauty.

Edit: and I've never really been a fan of foils generally speaking but if ever it worked on a poster it's this one. Definitely adds to the image.
this aggression will not stand, man.

That's why the only answer is to get both. ;)

Anyone want to PB me a gold foil one from Mondo Con?

No direct connection, but I'd say it's consistent with the bands image.

They do have a song (a great song) called the Bear and they always have a stuffed bear on stage with them, so you could draw a connection with the polar bears, but that would be quite a reach!

This was what Todd had to say about the previous MMJ print. I'm sure this is in the same 'natural wonder and awe' theme.
My Morning Jacket's new record is filled with a sense of wonder and awe. I've always viewed them as a grade A mystics performing exclusively at stages set amongst the natural wonders of the world. A photo surfaced in the mid 2000s making the rounds online of a sun and moon shown simultaneously from the North Pole. That image has stayed with me thru the years and after listening to MMJ's new record I decided it time to set to the stage with an image of the sun setting, the moon rising and the Aurora Borealis in full effect.
So it goes...
