my imagination doesnt see an "autofire" flash buy - more of a "flash review" for the piece price range and then flash the checkout
for single pieces- its hand to hand combat anyways, so my old horse cant run
Same boat.
lol yea I can imagine like browser extensions and all that help.

I just cant imagine how a human can checkout as fast as everything went yesterday. I started with the first drop and by the third only had to wait for the shipping rate refresh and pay. Failed on everyone. I am sure the slow internet speeds put me at a huge disadvantage too. Only things I am really bummed to have missed were the mound and the GD foil. Most everything else was just to get the framed versions of prints I have yet to get on the wall. Was fun nonetheless

I would think anyone with a bot would say it's stupid to run a bot during a sale like that.
Stupid and not likely is right. But if you ran a bot for "mound" and would take it at any price then good for you. Lots of people like to blame "bots" but the reality is "fans". Only fans.
Ps y'all think a "bot" is just press the button and go. Doesn't work that way. If you don't know how to use it you're not gonna score a damn thing. And if you knew how to use it last week, guess what? This week it's different and if you didn't keep up you lost. Chances are you spend more money trying to figure this out than you make using it.

You know that I say its a huge issue all the time and I know people who have bots or friends with access and not one person said it was smart to use it yesterday.
The person who purchasedthe Mound I want to say doesn't have a bot.

Who the drymount uses a bot to buy mystery products at a mystery price ? It’s just silly. Seemed a fair way to get the art to people. Always always always gonna be some bitching.

I think that mostly comes down to not everything appears at the exact same moment for everyone, especially when there’s so many people hitting the site. All it takes is a very minor delay and then you have no chance.

I think the reason that people thought that bots bought all of the inventory is that weren't properly set up for the release. When you go on the internet with most browsers, your browser uses cached data to avoid redownloading everything. Sometimes this means that when you refresh, you don't see the latest inventory. Therefore, by the time you actually refreshed and saw the new inventory, it was too late because it had already been purchased giving you the illusion that it was snatched up as soon as it dropped. I am sure people could have used bots, but with the price of some of those pieces, that's an expensive mistake if you get the wrong item (or possibly the right one). Then, you take all that risk knowing that BNG hates bots, so if you are caught, they might cancel your order anyway or ban you. Seems like alot of risk when I will bet I could have bought 20+ pieces if I really wanted to (hit the Powerball) without any of the risks just by setting up my browser correctly.

this all sounds like reasons I wanted a bot but never drymounted with it. Seems hella complicated

Yup. Checkout queue killed me. Was only after Theme for myself. Ah well. Kudos on the sellouts to David!
