Hi
I've got this huge print of an old movie poster that might be an actual original, or it might not, I don't really know.
What I do know:
It comes from the printing firm Great Big Pictures in Madison, WI when it moved a few years ago.
It is marked 71/149.
1971 Copyright and National Screen Service Corp distribution in same font.
It has printer's marks in the corners.
There is a slight mismatch on one of the borders.
It is mounted on a large piece of foam core.
It is about 7 feet tall.

What do you think?
Is it an original or reprint?
Is it worth anything?
Thanks much

They do so much with just the notes that they have. I mean who does that? Who messes with that kind of stuff?

Give Sam Sarowitz over at Posteritati a call. He will know.
Or talk to Stan.

It's called a three-sheet if it's 41"x81". It is probably original but check the value at emovieposter.com . Bruce has a easily searchable site for all things movie paper-wise.

Not sure what it's worth, probly depends on who you find to buy it.

But it looks, based on size and condition, that it might have been used by a theater or something

Best bet is to use one of those links ^^^ and ask someone who knows his stuff

hi
I don't want to burst your bubble, but on ebay or Heritage the 1 sheet sells for about $10-$20. The right person may give $50 for it.

Cheers,
