In an age when animation (for an audience over the age of 15) is owned by Japanese studios, why use Japanese font for an American/Canadian film? :? I get annoyed when artists throw in Japanese script for no apparent reason. :hanging:
It's the movie of a magazine that's big in Japan.

The magazine, Heavy Metal, is not, to my knowledge, popular in Japan. After a quick search, all I can find is ヘヴィメタル (the Japanese title of the film Heavy Metal). Either way, I don't get it.

I don't really get it either, but it fits. It'd probably be more appropriate in French, but the Japanese looks much better than I expected.

I agree, the Japanese def looks better than the English title on the reg. I'm just hyper-sensitive to the use of Japanese script for its cool factor. :pint:

It won't help you with your current pb situation, but remember the Man-bat ones will be coming down the pipe at some later date. :)

Only Mondo could do a series of character portraits, and do it without likeness rights.

Also, joss whedon tweeted about mondo marvel posters tomorrow:

best for me so far are Jock's Pans Labyrinth and the silence tv Batman print - would love to get out there one day but I would most likely spend the whole time being annoyed at not scoring ultra rare lego sets.
