I agree, I'm hoping I can get one online and pick it up on Saturday as I drive through Austin...

Hmm, was just browsing the Alamo site and it looks like they are having a screening for Pan's Lab coming up in April. Hoping it coincides with a nice poster.

I didn't like it much and would still give it a positive rating. It is a flawed system for sure. Like the Town... 94% positive... but actual score average is 7.7.
true...yet hard for me to fathom why a formula like that exists and why critics tend to cluster like muskox protecting their young...because as long at you meter 55% with 99% of critics you're golden. which is why i think audience ratings are much more reliable.

but i also think any form of ratings system is difficult since movies (and art) are so subjective.

ah, what does it all matter anyway, let's just buy some movie posters and go see some movies! :D

I thought of that too but it looks like it's not planned to be in the series. :( Though I suppose they could do one once the movie opens.

Images haven't been posted for a few pages so I'm moving them up.

these are really, really well drawn, but....well the composition strikes me as a typical movie poster.
personally it like to see a different take on the genera.
something more graphic novel like maybe or more MAGNA like they are toying with anyway. I went hunting around on the web for other imagery for this flick and found the Pardee images (See Them Here).
I'm curious what Ansin would have done with this film.

I'm just surprised Mondo didn't have Pardee do a full, screen printed poster for it. He had such a huge hand in the film it made sense to me....

Ken is amazing. He really knows how to use metallic inks well. Heres hoping there are some in this poster. My only criticism is that there are only two major colors. I wish he would of used more.
