Mondotees/Alamo Poster News & Rumors thread
I don't know what all these people complaining about having crabs are going on about: they're so cute!

I'm gonna get lambasted for this, but whatever.
As a guy who currently has too much Thing going on in the house, this just doesn't do it...you have one of the best, if not THE best sci fi film of all time, and this is where we are at? I get it man, and if I were in Austin, I would be loving this monkey up on the big screen. But you have the biggest draw/Mondo print - conceptually at least - on the back burner and Drew says, drymount It, I'll just sign a screenprint of my iconic - though rushed by his own admission - poster and be done with it. As much as I love - and I mean love-love like love the drymount-outta-this-movie-if-you-walk-in-my-door-you-better-have-seen-this-fudge-OR-I'm-going-Yellow-Sea-on-your-ass-fudge-aftermath-police-dey-took-er-jobs-rabble-rabble fudge - this movie, and Mondo - for making my walls nice - this just doesn't do it for me. My .02.
What drew me to Mondo was their creativity, not the flipability (sp?) or the big licenses they have gotten, those in turn have gotten more sharks in the water, figuratively speaking.
I don't envy you Austinites regarding the print, but rather the opportunity to see Kurt in all his glory on the big screen. I hate you, Connecticut.

I agree that this is a lazy, overrated, marked-up cash grab. It will still sell out but whatever. What's with the price considering the edition size is much higher, and likely has less colors than the Frankenstein; plus, unlike Frankenstein this isn't a collaboration piece with another artist.

Well DD, you told me in The Raid thread it was the stabbiest movie ever. Loved it, but it was actually the - not sure how you reference a film as the axe-iest movie ever - but wow, instant fan. No spoilers, dudes get stabbed and cut like a muthafucka in this film.daviddelgadoh wrote:This is honestly the best movie reference in this thread.selassielion wrote:iif-you-walk-in-my-door-you-better-have-seen-this-fudge-OR-I'm-going-Yellow-Sea-on-your-ass-fudge-aftermath-police-dey-took-er-jobs-rabble-rabble fudge

More Wes Anderson mondo prints! Lucky enough to see Moonrise Kingdom when it was first released 3 or 4 weeks ago and it was absolutely wonderful. Need to see it again.
