I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, Mondo will be releasing a Jack Hill/Lon Chaney Jr. "Spider Baby" print for the restored Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences film at the showing on Aug. 28th. in Austin at the Ritz theater. Haven't seen an image yet or who the artist is. Great film if you're not familiar with it.... featured a very young Sid Haig.

That picture of Ansin slightly reminds me of this guy:

I got a hookup from a poster buddy for Ansin Conan on another forum. Unfortunately, I received a pm from him just now with a picture of a pretty big tear and bend at the bottom right corner of the poster. The corner is basically torn off. What's the the proper etiquette for a situation like this? I really appreciate him going out of his way to get it for me, but it's also pretty badly damaged. I feel like kind of an a-hole having him go out of his way. Worst part is, I was planning on giving this to a friend as a birthday gift next week.

Would this bother the friend you are gifting it? This may only bother the limited paper collector.
Poster mountain is the other route. Post pics of carnage.

Yeah, I'd say he's pretty particular. He's actually a more active member here than I.
Here's a pic of the damage. I'm not sure if it'd even be worth sending to Poster Mountain. I think I might just ask the guy if he has any friend or family member that might enjoy the print.

Won't he read this then?
I already told him about it beforehand. I don't surprise for birthdays. I just get what people tell me they want.danactionforce wrote:Spoiler Alert!BobaBen wrote:Yeah, I'd say he's pretty particular and is actually a more active member here than I.
