but we also got a stout hand bill and a really dope authentic $ bond for free. and a great experience. even getting our prints was smooth and fast unlike other screenings. and RVJ hanging out was sick. and seeing the lucky glass winner find his prize was awesome. it was totally worth $85-100 and then some.

Unless Laurent was in the US I wouldn't think they'd be signed. Bring it to the show next year and get him to sign it then if it's a necessity.

Hahah! I hope being at the event was fun because that print would have been a big let down for me, especially if I had traveled. I would have passed on that print if it was a normal Mondo drop, just not my style and I'd never hang it. Putting "Mondo Mystery Movie" above the movie title just looks bad as well.yesterday wrote:Fixedphantomforce wrote:Snow globe fans are thrilled.
i flip therefore i am
I think you need to look at it more as gig poster than a movie poster - its a poster to commemorate the event more than its intended to be an alternative imagining of the poster you might see on general releaseessential wrote:Hahah! that said, its not my cup of tea so I would pass on a regular drop but if I had been there on the night I would be happy to have it
I think I am more disappointed that Mondo didn't do an awesome LOTR poster this week.
The guy complaining about trying to fly back with the metal was my favorite part of this whole thing I think. You flew across the country to watch a movie and get a poster, and you're talking about being inconvenienced?! Gimme a break. And you ordered the Super Variant and thought it was going to be on paper?! Sounds like a first world problem to me.
I'm not really impressed with the poster. It's all right, but I don't want some snow globe with the Nakatomi building in it for a movie like this. I want blood, lots of broken glass, and Bruce drymountin' Willis. And to spend all that money and not even have the print signed?! Psssh. Come on!
