What was the pricing like on some of the OGs? Were many of them sold?

Day 2 - most people are similar in line. Line up early for variants (if there are any)
When you got your ticket the first say 50 people in line got a black one as well. for the variant.
Thought process is, Oh I have a black ticket, there is a variant for me.
Movie comes up, Iron Giant. Have both Regular for everyone and Variant for Black tickets as well.
Black Tickets go up first.
Since its a mad house people push and shove. Some people are adults and wait back since "hey I have a ticket I should get one"
OH NO!!! Prints sold out! Somehow there were more black tickets then prints...
Justin try's and tell upset people that they are ruining the experience of the movie its not about just the prints. Mind you these people lined up all day, then acted like adults and were left in the cold.
Some got hooked up with APs the next day, some did not.
If I remember correctly, actually people with black tickets were buying but then not turning in their tickets, and handing them off to someone else. There was person out the three taking money that wasn't collecting the tickets or paying attention.

You guys did ruin the experience though, all the happy people with their Iron Giant variants, don't want to hear people complaining they didn't get one :P

I heard a rumor a while back that there might be a poster to go along with the Yonkers' Drafthouse showing of 'Escape from NY.' Any chance of that? Or are they too busy with the gallery show right now?

Would surprise me if they didn't save that one for next year and have a screening in the actual city.

Hi all.

Have been doing some research recently and wondered if any of you guys had ever used a separate insurance company to cover prints posted from the US?

UPS basic costs roughly $20 to deliver to the UK but there insured service costs $50

My thinking is that if you can find a separate (reliable) insurance company, as UPS is a bit steep.

Thoughts?

Sounds like a bad idea.

this is a third party insurance company that should work for that.
