So far, the only movies this summer that have really stuck with me are Only God Forgives and The Spectacular Now. Either I'm getting older or just weirder.

I was 2 so I didn't experience it firsthand, but some classics for sure.. Batman, BTTF2, Indiana Jones, etc..

2012 - Avengers, Prometheus, TDKR, Amazing Spiderman.. :lurk:

MOS was the worst superhero movie ever made. A complete lack of understanding of the character, dour cinematography, and an unforgivable ending.

I want to agree, but i didn't hate it as much as the previous Superman movie.
In retrospect, Superman 3 is kind of awesome compared to the 3 that came after it.

I give Superman IV a pass because we got Street Smart out of the deal.

One of the worst films I've ever seen. Left the cinema angry.

I have to say differently I left the theater angry from Prometheus and left in the middle of spring breakers. :deadhorse:

Never seen a cinema empty as much as when I saw Only God Forgives last week. I think at least 20 people left before the end out of the 50 watching.

That's a bit harsh and untrue. I'll just drop a few movies that are far worse then MOS

1)DareDevil
2) Green Lantern
3)Electra
4) Catwoman
5)Batman and Robin
6) Superman Returns
7) Ang Lee's Hulk

Those 7 right there are far worse then MOS without a doubt. Maybe you should see more movies

actually just watched spring breakers and only god forgives this last week. i liked both but definitely understand why people wouldn't like either especially based on the trailers that portray a completely different movie.

I love both movies so much, and imagining the horror that 90% of moviegoers must have experienced when they actually saw these films is part of that.
