Someone on another message board got an email from Mondo stating that the Drive "regular edition" vinyl in stores will be the exact same as the ones sold on their website with random pink vinyl copies as well.

So if youre all gung-ho about snagging a pink vinyl, just wait and buy all the copies your local record store gets in. Haha.

Email from Mondo:

"Yes, the DRIVE vinyl that will be in record stores will be the same as the one we sold online. Same artwork and same randomly-inserted pink vinyl! Best of luck! Take care.

My last few orders didn't even have a chance to bounce around in the tube. The tape on one end seems to come off and the rolled prints end up in a slight funnel shape, making it all sorts of awkward getting it out of the tube. This has happened at least 2 or 3 times.

Do all of the Drive's have the pink Mondo sticker? Or is it just the pink copies?

I have a reg copy, I am not sure.

So if you got a reg copy and it has that pink sticker, my idea is out the window. I got the pink copy and it still has a pink sticker.

got the pink sticker, got the black vinyl. i noticed the sticker before i opened and was hoping it meant the same thing.

They do everything the same on the outside, just randomly insert the color variant vinyl so that it's a bit of a surprise when you actually help open it up.

I know this is an easy "i've already checked that" but has anyone verified that the barcodes are the same between black and pink vinyls?

Dont need to. Mondo purposely does the jacket the same for their vinyl releases. They want you to find a surprise like opening up a box of Cracker Jacks (I just really dated myself there, haha).
