I did this a lot in my late teens and early 20's. I had a lot of fun on 6th street. It was always worth driving down from Dallas Friday nights. I did wake up in a bath tub once. I was fully clothed and it was dry, I was hung over and in a lot of pain. A bath tub in Austin makes a pretty shitty bed. It was also a surprise because I had no idea where I was or whose bathroom I was in.
I used to be a collector...now I'm a hoarder.

I bet you have some pretty good stories.

And one less kidney than you should.

I would fudge myself if I walked in the gallery and saw that.

Franklin's BBQ run is being organized for the gallery show. Check that thread for info.

I heard through the grapevine that it's actually going to be a collaboration with an artist by the name of Chris Morkaut-he did most of the work, Stout is just going over it slightly, fixing up the colors and some line work here and there.

I think you mean Morkaut is cleaning up the colors and linework, given his tremendous talent and photo-realistic accuracy.

The big question is "left or right?"

They've never had a huge left line before. The huge right lines forced a change to left.

Random question but this thread seems fairly random anyways.

How heavy is a print in a 3"x30" Yazoo? 2-3lbs? 3-4lbs? Anyone know?

Dunno' about 3" x 30" tube. A 4" x 30" yazoo containing 1-24 x 36 print is 2lb 4oz.
