I wish Mondo/artists would begin actively policing extreme instances of this sort of behavior. It would be easy to deduce the eBay seller through purchasing the auction and then blacklisting the name and address and email of the seller. It's ruining their company for other people and (to me) is a deterrent for people who may have otherwise been interested and could become Mondo supporters or could have been introduced to a new...addiction

Easier said than done I guess and I'd rather Mondo worry about other things

On the other hand, EXPRESSOBEANS IS HATERZ!!!!1
they would never do that you know why? because mondo loves flippers and they may act like they don't but in actuality they help expand and keep there business relevant and any artist out there should love them to

do you know how many artists out there would kill to have the hype and instant sell outs some artists get around here and alot of those sellouts are due to the hype/flippping that goes on...i find it so funny when an artist comes on here and says they are going to patrol flippers on ebay, i get they want there art in the hands of fans but at the end of the day flippers help there career and make them much more money in the long run so why would they want to stop that

thats just my opinion on the situation but in the end until this market drys up there are always going to be flippers and on the flip side of it the people who complain about them i don't think get that without them they wouldn't be able to purchase many things they miss out on if only collectors got them

Yes, it's true but does not mean it should be tolerated.

Did we just sit around when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor.... DRYMOUNT NO!!!
Ummm, I hardly think the rape and molestation of children is a fair comparison to someone making $50 on a poster. Jesus

No offense dude but if you're going to complain about flippers you probably would do better if you didn't have a new release in your trades. Just saying.

Each new group of collectors come in, miss drops, bitch about flippers, accept the situation and then move on...

It's just a pain in the ass having to hear the same arguments and counter-arguments each & every time, should be a sticky on this topic...

The hyperbole lately here on the topic is something new though...

But you bought it to use it for it's value to score something that you really want. What's the difference between insta-trading for a very valuable print or insta-trading for money? Serious question.

It's out there to screw with Pizz another EB member, my collection is a poster version of a roach motel, posters check in but they don't check out.

I have never traded or sold ANYTHING I have aquired and I have pulled together a very nice collection if I say so myself.

Anyway, next year this time it will still be in the flat file or gonzo will have traded me the Stout.
