Been a hot minute since I've tried a Mondo drop and still haven't yet with the updated website. Looks like I'm trying for it tomorrow!

Heading to Dallas tonight, so drop tomorrow may be tricky for me. But I'll definitely be trying for the first time in months as well.

Whoa, that's pretty drymounting awesome. Love the 50s vibe and lettering. Makes sense they chose Taylor after he nailed that Moby Dick print last year.

Not 50s, rather the 60s.

They are emulating the British quad design/format but utilizing the Australian exhibition logo, which makes sense being Taylor's home country. Interesting to see a hybrid of two countries' poster designs, pretty cool.

In fairness that re-commissioned UK quad is considered a masterpiece of vintage poster art. I'm pretty sure Ken would be honored to sit in comparison to it.
Personally I think Ken's work here is absolutely outstanding. His gorgeous illustration is matched only by his wonderful layout and type design.

Ansin, Taylor and Stout are the masters of the 'classic' Mondo movie poster, imo...

By that I mean the conventional style, folks like Jay and Moss do their thing with it, create art prints etc...these 3 give us that classic montage in a 24x36 image...

Pretty nice! I love it when Taylor uses green/teal/black color scheme.

I was thinking the same thing! Also this will be a nice companion piece for Moby Dick.

I like Taylors lettering and often find Horkey all too busy.

He can do mo wrong imo...

Ken has become the master of these deep sea prints.
