That said, now that Shep is doing "They Live," I would love Mondo to continue on with a 'They *Are* Out to Get You' series, focusing on films where justified paranoia exists. A few great follow up films come to mind: "Invasion of the Body Snatchers," the delightfully campy 80's miniseries "V," and "Soylent Green."
Body Snatchers has been done beautifully already

Yeah, but just like with "The Shining," it's like all these bullshit ultra-limited runs...why can't the guy just do a timed release poster for once? And why when I put it in my cart, do I not get 30 minutes to purchase it?

A Carnivale print would be excellent too.

Haha yeah that 'Invasion' poster is a Mondo joint from 2008 by Heads of State. It also happens to be my favorite poster of all time for one of my favorite movies of all time.
I'm honored you think I might've created that one.
What's so wonderful about that poster is the simplicity of the thing. It absolutely nails the mood and theme of the film without needing to be overly illustrated. It's just drymountin bold and beautiful.
That kinda creative flow is something I hope to achieve one of these days. 8)

That poster would have been better without the stuff above the title. Maybe a shooting star.

ps Heads of State do some great work. Pretty underrated, I'd say.
just a foil for me today, thanks

I just stopped by the mondo store to pick up both Kill Bills. The flat file was picked dry, and the walls were empty. The new manager Mo is a pretty cool dude.

Several people stopped by asking about the flat file while I was there, haha.
