But I just looked up a domestic shipment quote from California to Indiana and I got this ..

Priority Mail® Speed 2 days
Post Office Price
$8.60
Paid Online
$7.90

So I can only assume that we are bearing the costs of the tubes, the fancy Mondo stickers on the ends of the tubes, the tape, craft paper as well as credit card/paypal fees. Oh and I didnt think of the minimum wage kids that work the counter :P
Yes, $13-15 shipping sucks. No doubt about it.

But think of it this way...will you ever see this print again at less than $50 shipped? Nope.

first class (not priority) to australia = $24. for 2 posters =$37. jeez!

still, the actual poster is cheap enough to make it worth it.

Youre absolutely right thats why i went on and got both posters .. but Id rather pay $40 for the posters up front than be back door'd but an undeclared handling fee as Im trying to check out.

I'm cool with the $17.90. I usually expect to pay around $12, so an extra $5.90 to be able to get this print at the price of $35 is fine with me. Thanks, Justin--for another great drop.

Mondo always charges this much for shipping. Why does everyone seem so surprised?

Great price for such an awesome poster, so the shipping's a wash. It's funny how people would be snapping these up in a heartbeat and not complaining at all if they were listed as $50 w/ free shipping. But mark $15 of that as a shipping fee and everyone's panties get into a bunch.

That said, damn... that was some expensive shipping.

The value of the print would be $50 then though, and it's likely that if i were to resell at a later date, the price would be pretty similar....instead the value of this print is $35...and just to get it here im paying $58...if i wanted to resel later, it'd be a larger net loss. ( or smaller net gain). I'm not talking about buying to flip...but i think there's very little that i would buy and intend to keep for life. Of course..if you think this is a keeper for life then the argument falls apart.

Try shipping to work, select "Commercial," and use Fedex. Saves a little bit. $12.94 to Chicago. Better than the original $17.90 I was going to pay!

The value of this print IS roughly $50 not $35. Everybody's paying about the same to get it.
