Some transparency for those waiting that hadn't heard from MoonCrane either...

- The Clear threaded rods are not currently available in the required length for 2 of the birds, so we will be sending you 3 birds with the clear screw-on rods , then send the remaining 2 birds as soon as we sort the supply - currently working on it.

The Birds have been difficult to modify due to the size, so a few of the birds are getting damaged during the process.
- We will not have enough birds later on to complete the full edition so there will be an alternate version of the Wilderness sculpture without the Flying Birds.
This does not affect your Wilderness Sculpture - you will be getting the original 5 flying birds.

We will be adding embedded nut modification to the hands for the Alternate wilderness Version - for the new attachments, see mock image attached below.
Skull and Closed winged Bird

Do you want the Extra Skull and Bird attachments on the hands? Then we will need to add the Embedded nuts to the hands of your Wilderness sculpture and send you the New skull and bird attachments later.
If you don't want the new attachments - we will not embed the nuts on the hands of your Wilderness sculpture.

This is why I stick to the artist's output.

Needless to say, I declined the adjustments they are asking about.

Arrived today, with 3 of the 5 birds. My biggest complaint is that the base is not flat, it's somewhat domes so the sculpture wobbles on a flat surface. It doesn't come with any felt so I'll have to add some anyhow to try to resolve it.

2nd photo shows the gap in the front against a flat surface.

I have no idea why they made these cheap plastic pegs as screw-on. They should have been a much more rigid material with a slot to slide on in the exact right orientation of the birds.

Yup. My first thought as well.

Looks cheap, unfortunately. Glad I passed.

They're offering me a replacement, but I obviously asked if they can confirm if they are all like this before going through the hassle.
