Definitely a route I'm considering asking for, but haven't got to that point yet.

Besides some of the manufacturing issues, I think the sculpture looks pretty cool.cmatthews11 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 05, 2022 6:40 pmArrived today, with 3 of the 5 birds. My biggest complaint is that the base is not flat, it's somewhat domes so the sculpture wobbles on a flat surface. It doesn't come with any felt so I'll have to add some anyhow to try to resolve it.
2nd photo shows the gap in the front against a flat surface.
I have no idea why they made these cheap plastic pegs as screw-on. They should have been a much more rigid material with a slot to slide on in the exact right orientation of the birds.

Looks like I struck out on the new print via lotto. Damn it. Anyone get one?

I didn't get one. A little bummed as I'm pretty confident I could've snagged one on the drop.

Your post saved my ass. I had forgotten about this. Went and checked spam just now and there was the email 4 days old. Expires in a day.sidewaysscott wrote: ↑Thu Jun 16, 2022 11:30 amLooks like I struck out on the new print via lotto. Damn it. Anyone get one?

worse company every. literally 0 emails about the status of the project even though they charged your card for around $700 almost a year ago. i got a refund long ago. when i asked they were like "we normally don't give out refunds." sigh... will never buy anything from them again. just sad.cmatthews11 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 08, 2022 11:11 pmSome transparency for those waiting that hadn't heard from MoonCrane either...
- The Clear threaded rods are not currently available in the required length for 2 of the birds, so we will be sending you 3 birds with the clear screw-on rods , then send the remaining 2 birds as soon as we sort the supply - currently working on it.
The Birds have been difficult to modify due to the size, so a few of the birds are getting damaged during the process.
- We will not have enough birds later on to complete the full edition so there will be an alternate version of the Wilderness sculpture without the Flying Birds.
This does not affect your Wilderness Sculpture - you will be getting the original 5 flying birds.
We will be adding embedded nut modification to the hands for the Alternate wilderness Version - for the new attachments, see mock image attached below.
Skull and Closed winged Bird
Do you want the Extra Skull and Bird attachments on the hands? Then we will need to add the Embedded nuts to the hands of your Wilderness sculpture and send you the New skull and bird attachments later.
If you don't want the new attachments - we will not embed the nuts on the hands of your Wilderness sculpture.

Geddes print arrived in flimsy tube with a ding. Thankfully print is rolled smaller than inner diameter but definitely going to feed it back. These giclees are fragile enuff as it is...
