Jeremy Geddes thread
Kudos for trying...I was still meditating on the price tags. If I was ready to drop that coin, I would have pursued "Yelling" or "DeGraves".titanm3 wrote:swing and a miss. damn. now im ready to spend some money too.
But I agree with Blue
Looks like you are closer to the truth!greenhorn1 wrote:honestly, with how fast that postcard on ebay shot up over $800 i'd think these will sell out immediately.
Ah well, always fun to see Jeremy's new work.

Yeah I knew this would be my only chance, cause I doubt i can make it to Beijing, and those will probably be a lot more anyway.
i definitely don't put him in the realm of a gigposter type artist... some of his ogs are 15,000 so being able to get anything by him under 1000 is really reasonable.
There are a fair amount of people who can paint that well... but Geddes is by far the most interesting i've ever seen. with so many other skilled artists, its like, wow that scene looks real, but if it was real, i wouldn't care about it at all.

This might be the kick in the ass I need to finally purchase one of the 'nauts...

A: You think i'm an idiot because this has been posted before; or,
B: You think I'm a dick for posting this after everything was already sold out.
either way-

So are they all gone now? I'm developing this feeling that I missed out.

yep I got an email that said they have all been sold.
ISO Horkey Stacy Lowery Paleo Deck. $$$$$$$ (or trade)
Apparently I never signed up for his mailing list. I had zero clue about this sale. And to see they were only $550 per. Depressing to know this was probably the last reali$tic opportunity to ever own a JG original.
I liked this one:

Is there seriously not a general Geddes thread? I searched but only found threads about specific pieces. Anyway, if I missed it sorry. Otherwise I figured this could be the general thread to discuss things going on with him. Apparently this is the next print according to his blog:

the Artis Nook was originally intended to be catch all for artist information. it never matured beyond a compilation of releases as they are added to EB.
