If you have second thoughts, best not buy. Lot of money for a few pieces of paper.Hippie wrote:Got the email. Set 2. I never win stuff so I wasn't really concerned with the price tag when I entered the lottery.
Now that I have to spend it... I'm kinda torn up about these.
I like his spacemen much more. These seem so damn sad. (Not that the spacemen aren't sad...)
Tell me I'm being an idiot and should buy them.
With such a low number edition they'll have to gain in value... right...? .

I don't. If I did I wouldn't have posted. I'll take that drink though.hellosir wrote:I often spend thousands on art I don't really like just because EB tells me to as well. Wanna go grab a drink and hang bro?
We've all got to try to save for retirement somehow... These things have better returns than my 401K... at least they would if I ever sold anything.
People have until Dec 8 to pay so unless they send an email opting out, the next round may not even happen until next week.

So you could list them on Ebay, see how much interest you get, and then decide if you want them or not? They should have all been given a 1 hour turnaround.

Well... an hour might be a bit quick, but yeah I thought until the 8th was quite a long time.mrkyuss wrote:So you could list them on Ebay, see how much interest you get, and then decide if you want them or not? They should have all been given a 1 hour turnaround.

No joy here.
There should definitely be a 24 hour turn around for sure.

Why buy these if you find them expensive and you prefer his other prints?Hippie wrote:Maybe I was a little strong in my comments... It's not that I don't like them, just not quite as much as his others.Timbrh2001 wrote:
If you don't like them, don't buy them. Then you will never have to worry about something you don't like losing value and having a short longevity. Plus, you'll get gratification in knowing there's a tiny chance that a set will be going to someone who really loves them.
I'm glad he's giving us a few days to get back with him.
Just go on the aftermarket and buy his other prints.
