I hope Danger's is a drawing of Johnny Unitas' hands. That would be awesome.

Los Angeles, not San Francisco ...

I'm a huge sports fan, so, I'd like to see it.

Should be interesting to see how they get around the marketing juggernauts of the MLB and NFL if any of those logos are depicted.

For you youngin's out there that don't know the art/picture represented on the blog ...

Tommie Smith & John Carlos

There's a statue of these guys at San Jose State, where they went to school ...

Don't worry, some of the artists aren't big sports fans either, so there's lots of non-traditional stuff in there.

I hope it's not just U.S.A. sporting events.

Sounds like some artists will do general themes too.

Although the two athletes had a rocky relationship with one another, their symbolic gesture still holds an important place in olympic history… and is worthy of sociological commentary…

The backlash was immediate. The International Olympic Committee pressured the U.S. Olympic Committee to banish both. The Associated Press accused them of a “Nazi-like salute.” Brent Musberger, then a columnist with the Chicago American newspaper, called them “black-skinned storm-troopers.”
