In most cases when dealing directly with an artist their intention is not to stiff anyone. Remember they are artists, not business people. I've been and am in a very similar situation. Typically the artist will come through and make the wait MORE than worth your while.

this kind of stuff is sad. i assume i know who the artists is and even if i'm wrong, i dont see any reason to keep it quiet. i say take it to GP. it's never okay for anyone to take any of our money and not deliver.

Wow, this thread is blowing up. Thanks for the responses everyone. I don't want to come out and say the artist by name because, while I am pretty frustrated at this point, the dude is still a really nice guy and I'd hate for any new members to shy away from his work. It seems like he can get single prints and mystery tubes out with the quickness which is what most people would be buying so I don't want to completely screw the guy. That being said, anyone who frequents this board or GP can almost certainly guess who it is.

It's just a shame because if the roles were reversed, I'd want to get the package out if not for any other reason then to stop getting emails from my customer

Anyway, keep your fingers crossed that a big box shows up at my door sometime soon.
