Anything OBEY related
Chances of an oversized Christmas ornament in light of this year being the year of the plus size posters?
I've never scored a limited-release, so this question is for the F5 junkies.
Do you hold the edition once you have the item CARTED, or do you need to complete the transaction to avoid getting snaked?
Is that universal or are some sites different?
Thanks.

At Obey you have to purchase. That hold in your cart with 30 minutes to check out does not work

Check out right away.
Don't use paypal.
The releases go up pretty much on time every time so there's not a lot of F5'ing to do. From my office, when i hear the clock tower bells i know I have about 30 seconds before it will be up. That's usually when I start refreshing if I want the release. The Captcha is the biggest pain in the ass now. I always sign into my obey account before a drop and never used to get the captcha. Now, no matter if I am signed in or not, it pops up every time. For about 5 years I could grab any print offered by Obey but around the time of the Tom Petty prints that changed. Now it's about a 50/50 chance.
I'm not someone else.
If anyone is interested :
I think this text in this Conformity Factory print speaks for itself, but I’d add that we all need to ask the question: who are the overlords of the conformity factory, what is their agenda, and have we willingly or unwittingly accepted a role in their play while abandoning our own? Listen to your conscience and Gang of Four for clues (and awesome tunes… from Gang of Four at least)!

Really finishing 2019 with a whimper Shep. Buncha recycled large images and then this blah blah blah piece. How about you get back to some designing? Let’s go, Binghamton’$ not gonna pay for itself.

I was a fan of the red variant. Though it looked great, only 300 each.

NIAGARA X SHEPARD FAIREY
Detroit, MI / Los Angeles CA
"While attending the University of Michigan in 1974, Niagara and Mike Kelley formed Destroy All Monsters. The band, known to fans as DAM, was active until 1985, earning international recognition due largely to the presence of former members of The Stooges and the MC5. Later, she fronted the supergroup Dark Carnival (with Stooges guitarist Ron Asheton and his brother Scott Asheton, Stooges drummer)."

Been awhile since I tried for an Obey drop and failed miserably today. Captcha got me.
