Just got an email saying that if I didn't receive the update email last night in regards to the color variant that I'll most likely be getting the original. Man, this has been such a cluster f*^k.

I got that email last night and just got shipping confirmation. No was they already printed the new ones and have them at their shipping depot.

Only received the first email yesterday morning. Nothing since. And PayPal still hasn't been refunded. I can't wait to see what I get!!! It'll probably be nothing until then, I wait!

+1 on shipping as well. Must be the original colorway. I received all emails (including the FB group invite ) but was never actually refunded. I agree with rikkirattoe that when they decided to scrap the 2nd drop, maybe 200 or more of us (however many prints were supposed to be on sale during the second drop) are now getting the original colorway.

I mean that would have been the most logical thing to do from the very beginning anyway... it doesnt take much common sense to discover the irony in the statement "sorry, we oversold but are releasing more later" - that was seriously the biggest head scratcher of all for me

Sums it up pretty well (from The Giant forum)

Just sell the sets to the first 400 orders, refund the rest and just send a simple oversell apology to everyone along with an apology for publicizing the email addresses of all you customers.

+1 set and my wife got the refund and "glitch Variant" offer. So i guess Ill have all versions of this debacle.

Shipping notification received

When shep hears about this fiasco he’s going to flip his lid. Would love to be a fly on wall when they tell him they promised a new colour way haha. If nothing else they have lost a little credibility but made an additional $60k this week. Not all bad I guess.

No way they didn't clear that fudge with him first. He gonna have to pay the interns OT this week.

So did everyone receive tracking regardless of edition? Anyone not receive tracking?

Just received email response confirming special edition details will get emailed tomorrow. Logic would dictate any shared tracking info is for the original set, fwiw
