Interesting to see the house that Obey built (or paid for at least).
Man, housing prices in Cali are insane. You could buy a house 5 times that size in the Cleveland are for that kind of money.

MOOT POINTS all around...

Seven U.S. states currently don't have an income tax: Alaska, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, Texas, Washington and Wyoming. And residents of New Hampshire and Tennessee are also spared from handing over an extra chunk of their paycheck on April 15, though they do pay tax on dividends and income from investments. The PROPERTY TAX fills in the gaps

Even though US residents like to compare "what they can get" and "how much they have to pay" for real estate, from state to state it is all different on the economic scale.

I have lived in Dallas, San Francisco, and Scottsdale... The key is to utilize 1099 exchanges and other various tax loop holes, that the US government have selectivley created over the years to make real-estate a financial endeavor that is $$$ beneficial. It is not compacted at all... I could explain it lamins terms in comparison to Monet to Picasso and Warhol to Banksy but would fall on deaf ears in this thread.

Lets just say Frank Fairey bought this piece of property at the worst time possible for (current) real-estate 2005ish and will not loose money when he sells next month!!!!! Thats all 8)

Lamin
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Not to be confused with Laminins.

Nuclear lamins, also known as Class V intermediate filaments, are fibrous proteins providing structural function and transcriptional regulation in the cell nucleus. Nuclear lamins interact with membrane-associated proteins to form the nuclear lamina on the interior of the nuclear envelope. They are involved in the disassembling and reforming of the nuclear envelope during mitosis, as well as the positioning of nuclear pores.

I am sitting in my back yard now (in shorts and a hoodie) comparing oranges to oranges... Literally realizing I have 3 different kinds of oranges growing on what I thought were all the same type of orange trees. Now my head hurts :pint:
