I managed to snag both as well... I've only ever been successful with OBEY using PayPal. Any time I've tried with a CC I've encountered the same errors as others reported. Once I switched to PayPal my success rate has gone up a lot.

Uch. First time I tried CC over paypal, thinking that may be quicker. Clearly that was my bad. Congrats that scored. This one would've gone on the wall. Ah well.

Gotta love all the IG comments with people crying about bots and how difficult it is for actual human users to score a print. Fairey has well over a million IG followers, all the posts about his drops get tens of thousands of likes. There's gotta be thousands, if not tens of thousands of people trying to purchase every print. With a drop of 500 prints, not everybody can get one. It's simple as that. His popularity is just going up.
"I entered by payment information it said 'Sold out' in less than two minutes! How can anyone get through it faster! Gotta be bots!" Yeah well, somebody probably was slightly faster with their clicking and had a marginally faster connection. It really is like playing the lottery. Being fast just doesn't cut it, you also need luck.
If there's some way to weed out some resellers, I'm all for it, but I don't believe bots are as big an issue as people think. And no, I didn't score this one and I didn't score Marianne, and didn't even go for the bigger one because I don't have the space for it. I'm new at this and looking for my first Fairey, but I'm in no hurry. Just gotta keep trying, one drop at a time.
