What?bubbie wrote: ↑Sat Jun 22, 2019 3:05 amIf EB was working a month or two ago, they could have just send one of the interns to look at the price charts and go from there. Then maybe they have, but the charts weren’t working. We will never know.
Remember when they asked here what offset should be released next? No one mentioned what was actually released later. #somekindofaplan #gottabe
The wallet has been happy, indeed.

According to co-curator of “Facing the Giant: Three Decades of Dissent,” Pedro Alonzo: This sinister hand offering a can of black paint refers to the oil industry’s common use of misinformation to deny humanity’s impact on climate change. The artist signals the oil industry’s lobbyists and public relations campaigns used to maintain positive public opinion of fossil fuels in spite of the devastating effects of carbon emissions on the environment. Fairey suggests that the oil industry is willing to paint the world black with oil spills in order to extract as much crude oil as possible cheaply. The artwork evokes new coverage of the 1989 Exxon Valdez spill in Alaska and the 2010 BP spill in the Gulf of Mexico, environmental catastrophes that were caused by human error, poor oversight, and cost-cutting. The words “Decadent” and “Luxurious” remind us that the continued extraction and use of oil is a luxury humanity cannot afford.
Fairey’s practice is abundant with references to popular culture, a strategy employed to create artworks that are simultaneously accessible and thought-provoking. The title, “Paint It Black” references the 1966 song by the Rolling Stones that deals with depression due to a lost loved one. It presents a bleak worldview of desperation where the entire world is painted black. The artist invites us to ponder issues of environmental devastation due to pollution and carbon emissions.

"If I could fly high above the world, would I see a bunch of living dots spell the word stupidity" - Bad Religion
Punk rock band OFF! @offofficial which includes members from Black Flag, Circle Jerks, Redd Kross, The Burning Brides, and The Black Heart Procession is making a movie called "Watermelon,” and according to their lead singer Keith Morris, "You will do what we say"…… is an MK Ultra mantra from out of the shadows, under the hardwood and the linoleum floorboards or a ray of light into the center of the brain. Worship at the church of the central intelligence agency! - These cryptic words were all I could get from Keith because Watermelon is, of course, a top-secret project about mind-control which might already have me hypnotized. I originally created this print for their Kickstarter for the film which they barely fell short of funding. I want to see this OFF! Watermelon project come to fruition, so. I'm now releasing a limited run of these prints on my site to raise money for it, July 11th. Don't miss it!
