Was hoping for something a little more hard hitting by now.

that was 2016!
I think I remember reading Shep saying something during the campaign about that he didn't want to make anymore images with DJT's face on it anymore as he felt it was too negative/too easy of fodder. He wanted to move away from imagery of specific politicians and into specific issues. He's done a really good job of that IMO. American Rage is one of the most relevant images he's made in a long time. This year he's on fire with his work and it's a pretty damn good year so far. Like someone else mentioned he's become a little more subtle with his message and doesn't bash you over the head like he did 10-15 years ago.

But also it's a great unintended pun.

Luls. Good point. Some might even say it's ironical.

The price per square inch ratio vs. long term buy and hold return on investment isn't there.
So we are applying home buying metrics to print buying now?
If you don't do this with everything in life, you're doing it wrong. And that's not just a home buying metric, that's an everyday doing business metric. Everything we consume is price-based off of measurements. Shep's LPs typically don't have historically high resale. And that's fine, maybe if he made runs of 100 that would change the market place. Or even do 5 different colorways of the same print totaling 500. But $65 for something that is barley larger than a standard piece of paper, okay.

Reply too long; not a good word-to-value metric. TLDR?

There are two options. An open edition one and an edition of 200. Two different prices and prints.

ENOUGH of Trump is a multi-platform movement created to flood key swing states with public art projects in advance of the 2020 Presidential election. It's an honor to be one of several artists to work with People for the American Way @peoplefor_ on this campaign. Frustrated by failure after failure during Donald Trump's presidency, a dozen artists, including myself, have created public art to remind voters: we've had ENOUGH of Trump.

PFAW launched a Kickstarter campaign: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/pf ... h-of-trump to help fund this project, so that the billboards will be funded not by billionaires, not by super PACs, but by the people, for the people! If you donate $250, you will receive my "Enough Noise & Lies" print. It's a screen print on heavy cream Speckletone paper, 17 x 24 inches, an edition of 200 and signed by me. If you donate $50, you will receive my "Enough of Monarchy" print, which was inspired by the art that I created for this project. It's a giclee print (unsigned), 17 x 24 inches, and was designed exclusively for People For the American Way. Both donations will get your name listed on PFAW's campaign website. Your contribution will primarily help fund 12 billboards across Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania in October and November. Thanks for caring! -Shepard

^ Lol.

Pass on both. Don’t care for the giclee and really not a fan of “gimme” (and $250 + shipping, whatever that comes to).
