I’m tapped out of the oil prints, have enough in my collection.

For the most part my politics align with Shep's art's politics, but I generally look at the design first and the message waaay second with his stuff. Probably why in general I love his no-text work a lot more than his text stuff. Love the design on these.

Same...black and red looks great no need for the split or add something to the "variant"

Can anyone here attest to why Shep refers to the larger prints as serigraphs, but the normal editions as screenprints? He also doesn't specify the type of paper used in the large prints, but he does refer to them as fine art, while not doing so for the normal prints. Thanks.

They are at screen prints up to $349.99, anything more than that from source are serigraphs.

Are you being funny? Serigraphs are screen prints.

He's mentioned the paper he uses for large formats a couple times:
Legion Paper custom 100% cotton Coventry Rag paper which uses salvaged material to create a more eco-friendly product, reusing what would typically be considered waste. The color and features of this fine art paper were created specifically for these large format prints.
I've got a few of them and the paper is quite a bit nicer than the regular screenprints, but if you're looking to justify the $900 price you probably won't be able to based on the paper. As for the serigraph bit, it's probably just pretentiousness. Lots of other artists do it (eg SHAG)

the Obey serigraphs are printed by a higher end printer (or at least have been historically).
