be careful. the mattes in those frames are more than likely not acid free and will discolor the letterpress if in contact over time. also it would be wise to swap out the backing with acid free materials.benman3321 wrote:Thanks. These are just cheap frames from michaels, so it's just the mat that was in there.

interesting...mine came untaped, but with craft paper on one side and like a glassine paper on the ink side. had a really slight ding on the upper edge right at the corner, but nothing to be concerned about.

I've bought two things from them other than the Shep print. Both pieces were mixed media, not giclees, and there was no other venue from which to obtain them. I found them professional to work with. I ended up selling one later on ebay for over double what I paid for it. I think your anger is all misdirected.
GmidD wrote:Yeah, their "archive" sales are BS, but they do put out some quality prints and they're definitely not all mass produced giclees. Just got the DeeDee "The Day Is My Enemy" (spray paint and screen print) in the other day and it's incredibly well made. Especially for the price and tiny edition size. They started out with pretty much exclusively giclees, but have broadened into a variety of mediums. That being said, I do get why some people don't want to buy from them, but I've had nothing but positive experiences so far and I've been buying from them on and off pretty much since the beginning.soupysound wrote:not speaking for bryn.... but most people don't view 1xRUN too favorably. apart from being mass produced giclees.... their release process is kinda BS where stuff will "sell out" but then they will have a significant portion available for sale in their "archive access" sales at jacked up secondary market / ridiculous prices. it's their model. i think it is BS and try to avoid their releases all together. once in a blue moon they will have a release that i will buy but that is few and far between.WaltJocketty wrote:Why?bryndavies wrote:F 1xrun.

No in fact I was worried when I ordered, since 99% of the time I ordered prints from "merch" places there is always a issue... but I got the tube it had kraft and tissue... no dings or anything... Guess it all depends which employee is rolling themreddog76 wrote:Did anybody else get a damaged misfits print from misfits merch?
Mine was gorilla gripped and reading the return process looks like it sucks.
I'm sure they can't replace it.

The key word there is "paster." They are not as collectible, hence the low price.

Really? I sold this one Unsigned in 2012 for $200
1) that paster was signed
2) yeah, $200 isn't much considering a regular print of that is worth much more
