Anything OBEY related
This is absolutely true as it happened to me in the past. But I also am of the belief they pick and choose how to refund with no real consistency.Kdh12 wrote:Codeblue wrote:Looks like they actually did it by order number this time. They really did used to refund in alphabetical order. Mondo nubs wouldn't know dat doe.
think there was a period where they refunded international orders first as well

I like the new direction too, but can't unsee the fact that it's almost identical to Tristan Eaton's work.thefool wrote:diptych seems unnecessary but sweet image none the less. really like sheps new style.

similar. but certainly not identical. faile experimented with a similar torn collage look last year with a print series. tristan eaton certainly is not the first to do it either. he's just stuck to it for so long.ciphe wrote:I like the new direction too, but can't unsee the fact that it's almost identical to Tristan Eaton's work.

I definitely agree, but the reason I brought this up because it's similar in content as well, a portrait with messaging and other elements.soupysound wrote:similar. but certainly not identical. faile experimented with a similar torn collage look last year with a print series. tristan eaton certainly is not the first to do it either. he's just stuck to it for so long.ciphe wrote:I like the new direction too, but can't unsee the fact that it's almost identical to Tristan Eaton's work.

I get that they're both using collage effect with a woman, but still don't think they're all that similar. Hell, I see more similarities between tristan and POSE.
But yeah, Shep def isn't breaking any new ground with his new work, but I don't see it as a direct rip off of any particular artist.

I agree. He's been using collage styling in his art for ages. And he regularly uses women in his art. This just brings those two together. Seems pretty natural to me.Brazzzy wrote:I get that they're both using collage effect with a woman, but still don't think they're all that similar.
