Art without people in it
There's way too many pictures of people on my walls. This needs to change dramatically. I have a few things without people, but most artists (especially within this "scene") seem to really like drawing people.
Animals are ok, but I don't really like them all that much either. Please none of that baby stuff like Jay Ryan makes. I'm a grown man goddammit (no offense Jay some of yer stuffs is coo)! I'm looking more for inanimate objects, but not really that bland still life stuff. Something with a little panache! The new Kinsey flower would be a good example.
Please post your favorite prints, posters, or affordable OGs that don't have people, or just artists in general who fit this bill. Help me reduce the number of people in my life!

I don't know how you can overlook the Ibogaine as far as the conceptual illustration and printing is concerned.. oulalaa.. fits the bill too.. said to represent the freed soul pulled out of the addiction by the Ibogaine wings..

Hynes, Kleinsmith/PP, DRDC, Delicious Design - all do what they do very well.
Also, Crosshair. Dan is tops.
Furturtle and Dirk Fowler are awesome and have a similar feel to me.
Heads of State or the Small Stakes for those minimalist looks.
Steve Walters has some rad fudge.
Judge uses a lot of great scratchboard stuff.
(I expect you are going to get recommendations for what is popular on these boards as of late, which is mostly hippie-ish and boring to me.)

I don't pay attention to the musical taste of folks around here ... so, if you don't like the bands ... well, tough. Here are a few gig posters I'm quite fond of that fit your description.

Munter comes to mind as well ... Boris, EITS and Coalesce ... to name a few.
