It's hard to capture the textures and shifting colours of these screen prints without a bit of motion. Dark City Gallery asked me to film some of their posters, mainly the Argento series. Check the videos out on their youtubechannel:

Wow, these videos really do help show you the beauty of Malleus' prints. Also, I'm really enjoying the music from each film. The Ennio Morricone track for The Bird With A Crystal Plumage is wonderful: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EfgLJ6CMJIs

I love that Opera Variant. Great print job on it.PorkBelly wrote:The Opera split fountain variant is pretty amazing in person.
I'm still somewhat shocked that so many of the Argentos are still available through DCG.

Suspiria by Malleus:
The final print in the Mallues / Dark City Gallery Dario Argento Series. The poster is for Argento's (horror classic) 'Suspiria', the design captures the theatrical feel of the film and highlights the nightmarish barbwire scene. Printed using vibrant red and metallic silver on black stock. The variant edition for 'Suspiria' is printed with vibrant reds on black stock and glitter is added to small areas of the piece. The results are wonderful, impossible to capture in a photo but you get the idea from the image below. Available from Dark City Gallery on Wednesday 24th April at 17:30 GMT http://www.darkcitygallery.com/Dario_Ar ... s/1858.htm

Damn I don't know which Suspiria I like more, the reg or variant...
I love the red on the hair in the variant, but I like being able to read very clearly the Suspiria and Argento names.
Decisions decisions...
At least I have time to decide I guess.
