It was a pawn shop in a high crime area. Anyone in Denver will say that Broadway just south of the capital is shady at the best of times. If you're familiar with Denver, it's 50/50 that stuff at this pawn shop is stolen, even if maybe these weren't.

If it had been some sleepy suburb, I would have shrugged it off and never said a word.
