Oh man, that would be cool! But I bet like just a ping pong paddle from the hatch goes for $800, and it's not like it says LOST or anything on it...cardhawks wrote:Anyone else excited to see what some of those items sell for? I might bid on one or 2 things.... I need another turntable and thought it would be cool to have the one from the hatch...

I would bet that nothing goes for below a grand and if something does, it won't be far from it.cardhawks wrote:We can also talk about the auction for the set props. When is that going to happen?

There are some small ticket items like fish biscuits and beer cans but there are a lot of them so I don't think they will go for a couple hundred. Then you have some of the iconic items like John's knife, Eko's prayer stick, Hurley's lotto ticket, etc. and those will fetch big bucks.
Ha! Probably already done!Darkknight37 wrote:We can all just celebrate by spending $815 on prints!
If you want some affordable Lost memorabilia don't forget this gal's feebay auctions. She lives in Hawaii and purchased a ton of stuff when the production company was clearing out the warehouses of props. (fyi, I am in no way affiliated and have not yet purchased anything from her)

There's some cool stuff there. Does one need to register for the auction ahead of time (such as create an ID like Ebay), or is it just a free for all?

This stuff is going to sell for so much. This auction I trust, random person on eBay selling things you can find at any prop house--not so much.charter wrote:http://www.profilesinhistory.com/

Yeah that stuff will sell for a ton. I cant say I have 100% confidence in the props collectibles world, regardless of how reputable the seller might be. There are a lot of duplicates made of any one significant prop on a movie or tv series - especially when that series needs the same props for 6 seasons.
I think Sawyer's letter is one of the items up for auction, meanwhile Evangeline Lilly told the story on Kimmel of how she swiped that letter during the first season, and that it eventually went up in flames when her house in Hawaii burned down.
