The Tim Doyle/ Nakatomi Art Thread
lulz
the world is all topsy turvy, i got an AP instead of a print a few years back - gotta wonder just how many ap's are floating about - still not as shady as the galerie eFfers on the Millward Lebowski mind you
this was from 2012 when I bought Amanda Huggenkiss from Spoke ( i was a noob, didnt know any better)

I am writing to inform you that due to a slight over sale of prints during the Tim Doyle release the order you placed with us will include an artist proof instead of a print from the numbered edition. Your order was picked up from our warehouse today, Friday, February 17, 2012 and should arrive shortly. Many collectors find Artist Proof prints more appealing as they are technically more rare than the regular numbered edition. You can learn more about artist proofs here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artist%27s_proof. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you and please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
to Spoke
so what was the edition size of the AP's?
to me
Hello, there is no edition size of the AP's they are just what Tim had.

Nobody has said anything terrible about me in a few weeks, so this is a refreshing change of pace.

I can't deny you're a talented artist. You have a lot of prints I love. But your business practices leave something to be desired.alexfugazi wrote:Thank you very much!danielpmcauliffe wrote:I actually really really like this.alexfugazi wrote:

That's there because it's technically the 3rd time this poster has been printed- originally at the SpokeArt show back in 2012 at 16x20, again with the kickstarter I had earlier this year at 22x28, and now the Flaming Moe's colorway- the 3rd time.steve5635 wrote:got the Amanda hugginkiss "flaming moe" varaiant the other day, man it is awesome, one question tim, what does the roman numeral III (3) indicate by the edition number of 300. ???
thanks
