being the idiot i am, i tried to backtrack from the last page, since i hadn't seen MY no. 1 choice in there, and it ended up casting a vote for something else that i'd chosen near the beginning. oh, and you can't revote.

advice: don't backtrack!

some errors for the POTY that I noticed right off the bat:

mccarthy's the fall is listed under POTY and not for art printprintImage
Lumbang's Forest and Friends is listed under POTY and not for art print printImage
ISO mccarthy ''the white tree' #6 and #10 canvases, or Clonal Colony aurora variant

But, that said.......the fact that he had such a strong year might also be his downfall on this POTY voting, as there are so many great prints to vote for by Chuck. I fear that the votes for Sperry might be splintered across his body of work.........Regardless, whether you think that's good or bad.......it's certainly a true testament to his quality and the fantastic job he did this year.

Here's to you Chuck......keep it up in 2010! :pint:

Now, let the battle royal begin.
couldn't agree with you more, jojo...I was thinking the exact same thing! There should be an "Artist/Studio of the Year" to recognize this very thing. Compare the # of Sperry/Donovan/Firehouse prints in this thread to any other artist/studio mentioned. I'm not compulsive enough to go back and count but I'd guess the boys from the East Bay have it hands down.

Personally, It's a moral dilemma voting for posters I've only seen through a computer screen. I have or had a few that I'm feeling pre purchase but when I get them home they just don't have "it", example is Keyes "Scorch II" print, While others I'm on the fence about, only to be blown away opun arrival, example Geddes "Heat Death" which would have gotten my vote for APOTY if it was an option.

Congrats EMEK/Horkey on their win-well deserved & Chuck Sperry (whom I voted for, love the underdawg!!!)

Congrats to: Dan McCarthy-a worthy winner IMO (voted for TRHaSound too!!!)
