OFFICIAL: New Dan Mccarthy up thread
I love how people who don't like a print (and also raise pertinent reasons why) are classified as "haters".rmoore wrote:Sorry haters, Cold Moon is sold out.thekharmainitiative wrote:Sales are crawling to a halt. As are the posts. Shocking.
I like Dan. I like lots of his prints. I think Dan mailed it in this month and that the image is repetitive so I didn't buy it.
Guess that makes me a hater! Lulz.

Were you referring to me? Because I really like Cold Moon. I even put it on my Amazon universal wish list. Which is why I was surprised it didn't sell out as fast as the last McCarthy prints. No sarcasm intended.rmoore wrote:Sorry haters, Cold Moon is sold out.thekharmainitiative wrote:Sales are crawling to a halt. As are the posts. Shocking.

eh...couldn't justify buying Cold Moon when I already own Pink Moon and A Night in the Forest. still looks great though.
I'm surprised it didn't go quicker. I was at the gym when I got the email, so I tried to buy it with my iPhone on the spot because I was worried I was going to miss out, but PayPal would crash my phone's browser for some reason so I had to cut my session short. I hope I have as much time to buy the Harvest Moon print when ever that one drops.rmoore wrote:Sorry haters, Cold Moon is sold out.thekharmainitiative wrote:Sales are crawling to a halt. What if Dan never released Cold Moon, I can't imagine that anyone would be happy about that. This release was inevitable and Dan has been killing it with every print he has released lately, he's on a huge roll Elder Days is an etherial masterpiece.

I think someone else mentioned this earlier, but it's awesome how Dan makes the "air" in the print look cold. I can practically feel the frozen snot on my nose.

Just out of curiosity, what other McCarthy prints would you all be interested in seeing get a sci-fi adaptation?

I've been bugging Dan to let me commission him for an original piece, but he's just apparently too busy. Doesn't mean I haven't been in talks with OTHER artists...gonzo303 wrote:I ordered one of these, but to be honest why not create your own instead of making more copies of McCarthys art. Just my opinion but I'd be devastated if you did a Photosynthesis style.

How about a whole bunch of the older pieces I can't afford.
