I love when people say things like this, as if the years he put in tagging trains, getting up all over NYC, and building his body of work happened as quickly as these prints sold out.

It takes decades to reach the level of success when you can sell out 100 print editions at $24k.

But yeah, I'm sure it was EASY. :o

I get it, but I still think 24k is insane. Obviously the market proved me wrong.

Which print from the set would you hang in your house?

And what would you tell your house guests that came over and looked at it?

I don't think I could explain it to them enough to make it seems worth $2400.

I think they would say "you paid how much for what???"

I actually like the prints quite a bit but if I had the $24k to spend it would go to an OG. Congrats to those who scored. :pint:

I wonder if all the people splitting up the sets had different prices. Some images are better than the others .

I assume that someone spending $24k on a set of 10 prints, or $2.4k on one knows enough about KAWS to explain his art to people who visit.
Either that or they're in it for the investment.

Lesson learned, I should start investing in Justin Bieber prints while they are still affordable.

24k is my limit, I can't justify the shipping.

I'm in Canada and it costs more to ship everywhere, so get over it.
