If we can get 8-10 people, I will organize a set. I got my reservation in pretty early.

Waaaay over priced for the edition size. If it was an edition of 20 then I can understand the price but for $24k I'd want them to all come framed... Otherwise you would need to drop another $4-5k to frame them because you'd be crazy to let $24k sit in storage.

I really hope this isn't KAWS' "jump the shark" moment. There's a fine line between getting what you deserve for all your hard work and pissing off your entire fan base who helped get you where you are.

He's out of his mind if he thinks these sets are worth a total of $2.88 MILLION!

There have been more than a few times that you and I have not seen eye to eye Frib, but this is not one of them. :pint:

:D

I really hope I'm wrong but I've seen many artists over the few years basically get blackballed due to their greed and because they took advantage of their loyal fans. This is just on a whole new level than those other artists. Biting the hand that feeds you never turns out pretty.

24K and they're on showcase at a museum for a community college? I guess it's nice to welcome the student body to things they'll never be able to afford early (I took a few classes there, so I am talking about myself too)

Yes, junior college students should only be limited to viewing shitty local art. Great point
