So basically whenever you're supposed to give her a card?

Pretty much. But then I don’t really see a reason for me not to say it in words, instead of wasting paper on cards. The only cards in our household are whatever the kid(s) draw. Even to clients and others, where the card is “expected”, I rarely give one anymore; only when I cannot make a personal appearance, so to speak. Just a waste since they all end up in the garbage, in many (most?) cases the same day. To add, in this day and age many still don’t even recycle.

You can just write a thoughtful note on the back of an Obey sticker (including to recycle if need be).

Such a strange place to make a stand and claim the environment as an excuse, especially if your wife actually gets annoyed that you don’t come with a card a couple times a year. She must not care THAT much. Such an easy and cheap thing to do to get points though! I’m a big fan of the fold paper in half and cut out a half-heart, then sign it approach.
Now flowers? I fully agree. Total waste of money and resources. Mine gets those maybe once every 3 years, delivered to her office. Always a big hit and I can usually get to second base that night.

KAWS also hammered at over 1.1 million at Sotheby's the other day, and didn't proceed to self destruct afterwards.

Lol oh wow. I was buying the wrong designer vinyl crap 10 years ago. I'll just settle with selling my hoarded Astro Boys to get a Tesla next year.

Thought I would go for it, but 480 + 127 int. shipping + 192 duties/tax was a no go.
I'll use the money for framing instead.
But they went fast, maybe a low edition size ? what you think?
