One tidbit from the instagram comments...
"You know artists are weird. Maybe he's one of those sickos that likes having other people suffer all day"

Seems like an improvement from back in the day when people got killed for their sneakers IRL. I've never understood the sneaker collecting thing, it does make me feel better about my own collecting habits.

Although, I bet one can find almost an identical comment in the obey thread back when drops could take hours at the old store.

"seriously what kind of grown man owns one of his dolls made by this wrinkly 45 year old with a micro peen..just some sick twisted fudge"
or

That last one is sig worthy.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BSVHs0OFNBX/I'm seeing a lot of comments from people upset about my website not releasing the product today but I never mentioned product would be on my site today. For every release on kawsone I have sent a mailer the day before announcing the release and time it will go live. I wish I caught wind of this sooner so I could prevent wasted time and expectations.
Luls. Ain't his fault that TGT.bubbie wrote:Sounds like the dude was right about a sicko liking for people to suffer all day

Why is it suprising? It was advertised by Nike that they would drop on his site. He had the items loaded up on his site. He even mentioned the backdooring in an Instagram post. Not releasing them on his site wasnt the most crazy part of the release. Not having enough pairs at the Brooklyn Museum for those who had wristbands and were told they were guaranteed a pair was poor form. Sounds like they ran out of pairs because multiple pairs were sold to VIPs. This release played out like a soap opera.bubbie wrote:
I can't believe people's were actually refreshing all day. Wonder how many still are. Wouldn't surprise me if some took a day off to do that too.
