I just finished building a "barndo" at our farm....Big metal building with garage, workspace, gym, dog room...Barn also has a 3 bedroom guest house "hiding" on the south end of the barn. I installed shiplap on most of the walls and have been having fun filling them with paintings:

A fun barn door project in our "barndo"- we wanted to let light through from the West, but also wanted some privacy/quiet when working in the home office nook beyond the door. So we removed the top panel of the door and replaced with some deco glass so we get daylight even when door is closed. The best part is that the art is visible both ways:
