“This new series seeks to contribute to this revitalized conversation: our era is riddled with turmoil and uncertainty stemming from our dominion rather than stewardship of the world that we inhabit. Perhaps our salvation lies in the recognition that beneath the veneer of our culture we are the very same nature that we have pushed to the margins.

My idea behind this particular painting was to point toward the pagan/archaic origins of “Easter” - the notion that our species has spiritually dialogued and connected with the natural world and its cycles far before organized religions hijacked the realm of “spirit”.
Very nice, Origo. Given the context of the piece, the tail looks to be forming a pagan symbol, but maybe I am reading into it too much.

My grandpa always said, "you can wish in one hand and fudge in the other. See which one fills up first".

Origo, the new Witfooth really is something. Would love to see a pic in situ, once it's hung up, if ya don't mind. I really dig seeing the spaces people put up large works in.
