this is not a slam. what i like about mbw has to do with the pop culture in his art, and the absolute brilliance of the building of the market.

to start with, i was an only child in the 70's who had to entertain himself with television and radio quite alot. i was a loner, they were my friends, as were all the people on them. pop culture is part of my american culture.

now, from the perspective of someone who has done radio for nearly a quarter century, and having studied and practiced marketing and related psychology issues on a wide spectrum of levels ranging from television commercials to long term campaigns and promotions to morning show content to effective 14 second "talk over the intro" breaks, i also have to especially marvel at how this is going down. it is a beautiful thing.

This cat was So Angry; there's no doubt MBW is only going to get bigger and bigger!!
The press he continues to generate positive/negative is only helping his cause!

Wish this guy would have played that part of the interview where he admitted to contributing to the hype!!
